PIT
My debut single Dromers Onder Ons (Dreamers Among Us) was released on March 19. The single anticipated the release of my debut EP Violet, which came out on June 2.
Under "PIT" I make Dutch dream pop and psychedelic rock music. Over the years of recording music by myself, I created my own sound. The result is a crossover of traditional psych acts such as Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett and The Grateful Dead as well as modern psych acts such as Temples, Tame Impala and Animal Collective. What is unique about this is that my compositions are sung in Dutch.
For the EP I also did the songwriting, production and mixing. Joe Lambert (Animal Collective, Beach Fossils) was responsible for the mastering. Dromers Onder Ons also has a music video, which was provided by Shawn Spier.
